Luckan has got two integration programs

1) Life in Kirkkonummi – activities

Life in Kirkkonummi started its activity in Kirkkonummi in the year 2016. The project offers help for immigrants, foreigners and new municipality members in finding their way in their new hometown. We offer courses to help newcomers learning the language, getting a job, or finding a suitable school or even hobby.

When you have questions, turn to the project manager who can guide you to more information.

2) Luckan Integration – guidance

Luckan Integration offers guidance for immigrants. We can assist you with job seeking, finding educational programmes and language courses. You can get guidance in person, by e-mail or by phone, regardless of your current official status in the country. All discussions are confidential.

FIKA is a mentoring program where volunteers act as mentors to ease the integration process for immigrants

Do you wish to meet someone who is established in the Finnish society? Would you like to practice your Swedish or Finnish with someone? Do you want to share your own experiences and abilities and create something new? If you answered yes to these questions you are welcome to join the FIKA-Mentor program!

A person (mentee) that is in need of support regarding his or her integration process is paired up with a person (mentor) who feels established in the Finnish society. You and your mentor may have similar interests and experiences or the same occupation or education. Together you discuss, change experiences and do things together. The pair meet for six months, approximately 4-8 hours per month.
